Brian the Brush Ltd are a traditional hand-painting signwriting company based in Yorkshire & Cheshire, serving the UK.

Brian has been in the business for over four decades and is one of the most experienced signwriters working within the UK. We are extremely proud to offer Gold Leaf Gilding and hand painted signs for all types of businesses and clients. We are extremely proud to say we are the nominated contractor to the Tower of London along with many other prestigious clients.

The restoration and renovation work we undertake on listed buildings and heritage sites are part of the work we do that provides us with much job satisfaction. It is with immense pride that we beautifully restore something to its former glory.

We have been privileged enough to work on restoration projects for The Victoria & Albert Museum, a number of beautiful war memorials, a range of vintage vehicles, and the Larkspur soft drinks brand. Over 40 years of experience enables Brian to understand the challenge, build the perfect bespoke solution, and carry out the restoration to the highest possible standard.

We regularly undertake work for religious organisations, both locally and across the UK. Over the years, we have had the opportunity to carry out work ranging from Church Spires to weathervanes to notice boards to religious symbols and architectural features. We are completely aware of and empathetic towards the need for respect and sympathy to be upheld in such buildings.
