National Federation of Roofing Contractors
The National Federation of Roofing Contractors Limited (NFRC) is the UK’s largest roofing trade association, comprised of seven regions, 1,000 trade contractors and over 170 Supplier Members (manufacturers and service providers) representing over 70% of the roofing industry by value. With a history spanning over 120 years, NFRC has established itself as the voice of the roofing industry, constantly adapting to change and innovation to ensure its members are at the forefront.
Through various initiatives, NFRC continues to strive to provide confidence both to clients who use its members, and to the members themselves to receive a service that is second to none. NFRC actively ensures that members offer high standards of workmanship and sound business practice through a strict code of practice and independent vetting procedure, including site inspections and adhering to the Government-endorsed TrustMark standards.
In 2008 the NFRC launched the National Heritage Roofing Contractors’ Register, fully endorsed by English Heritage, Cadw Welsh Historic Monuments, the Environment and Heritage Service for Northern Ireland, Historic Scotland, the National Heritage Training Group and CITB.
The register identifies and lists roofing specialists who have a proven track record in successfully completing some of the UK’s most complex heritage roof replacement and renovation work. Click here for further information.
