Specialist Equipment For Church Heating Systems

HeatinGlobal often install high energy efficiency boilers in churches that have very low running cost. As with the old cast iron floor standing boilers the cost to run and maintain them become un-affordable and sometimes un-repairable.

We install a number of wall hung boilers allowing more storage space and prevent any risks of boiler damage in flooded basements. The boiler range we install can start with the Keston 55kw to the Keston C110kw and in some cases of higher outputs needed we can supply boiler rigs which is a bank of boilers all married together. The Keston Boilers come with the great benefit of having built in light commercial pumps for very fast warm up times and the silence running of the system.

Radiator types:

As with most churches a higher output radiator is needed so at HeatinGlobal we provide triple panel triple convected radiators for heating the spaces required. Triple panel radiators are made to measure and can be manufactured in sizes that best suit your church. The colour of radiators can usually be an eye sore when the church has been so used to having cast sectional radiators that blend in with its surrounding, That’s why we provide colour charges were you can pick a colour that best suits you for your radiators to be powder coated. Powder coating radiators is a base coat of paint that does not peel off with high demands of heat. When fast warm up times are needed and noise is not an issues we can install fan assisted radiators. These work on a temperature sensor that once the appliance reaches temperature it then blows out its warm air which then becomes a forced convection heat.

Restricted wall space:

As with most churches wall space is a real issue when replacing the old system. The church heating system will usual have low level 4” cast pipes that run under the seating giving out enough heat when it was first installed. Over time the system becomes clocked up with sludge and dirt there for warm up times become longer and longer and running cost become expensive. The solution to these problems as seating cannot be removed is HeatinGlobal install low level steal flow and return pipes, connected from this is 2x 100cm square fin coil running pipes. All this connected gives a very high heat output that all fits neatly under the seating area. The whole installation is boxed in with a smooth finish ply allowing a nice varnished finish to the project. The convection comes from the runner track on top of the box that comes in many different finishes. The runner track is fully retractable allowing easy access for maintenance.

Keeping your system clean:

Having your heating system power flushed is a good way of clearing the heating system, However to have this completed every 12 months would be costly because a church heating system is around 15 times the size of a standard house so sludge and dirt builds up very quick. Having a filter system installed on the return pipe of your system stops any dirt getting back into the boiler heat exchanger. The filter works on the basis of a very strong magnet is installed on the system with two isolation valves. The valves enable you to clean the system with ease once a week without having to drain down all the heating system. The magnet draws in all the dirt and sludge and sticks to the magnetic bar inside until it is cleaned.

Controls:

As with most controls people tamper about with pre set times and settings that have been programmed. To overcome this we supply and fit the Randell timer control either single or double zone. The timer control allows you to pre set any times you require for your heating needs, By then removing the keys provided no body can alter any times or setting than have been programmed.  The room thermostat is usually the big problem as some people are too hot and others too cold. We provide a simple tamper proof room stat that allows you to set you required temperature then replace the front cover so settings cannot be changed.
