ATLAS launches awards to celebrate 70th anniversary

The Association of Technical Lightning and Access Specialists (ATLAS) has launched a series of new industry awards to mark its 70th anniversary.

The ATLAS Awards 2016 mark 70 years of excellence within the lightning protection and steeplejack industry and will promote the high quality and scale of work of Specialist Contractors within the sector. The winners will be revealed at the ATLAS Gala Dinner in London next May.

There are five award categories:

Lightning Protection – Commercial and New Build
Lightning Protection – Conservation and Heritage
Specialist Access – Commercial and New Build
Specialist Access – Conservation and Heritage Training

The winners will be selected by a panel of independent industry experts who will be looking for high quality workmanship, technical complexity and client satisfaction, amongst other criteria. The ATLAS Training Award will recognise the commitment of ATLAS members to investing in a qualified and skilled workforce.
