What do 'Game of Thrones' and 'Emmerdale' have in common?

Nigel Tyas ironwork, that's what!

The company are delighted to have recently supplied curtain poles to the popular Sky television series and their 'Swaine' wall lights sit proudly in the Woolpack on Emmerdale.

The team from Yorkshire Television felt that the company's original and still 'officially most popular' small wall light suited the traditional surroundings of a rural country inn.

Based in the south pennines north of Sheffield, the small independent company is committed to keeping traditional metalworking skills alive in the UK.

They have a simple and down to earth approach - to provide you with the finest quality hand-forged interior ironwork and friendly and helpful customer service at all times. Nigel Tyas combines his natural talent for design and proven skills in blacksmithing to create an eye-catching and functional range of ironwork for your home.

Indeed, these two popular TV programmes are not the only famous places you can find ironwork by Nigel Tyas.

Their Shepherd's Crook chandeliers and curtain poles, along with Wharncliffe wall lights, are also in the Maiden’s Tower at Leeds Castle, which is the venue for lots of picturesque weddings, and the company has also recently supplied the Tower of London with chandeliers.

Those of you with a very keen eye and a love of history may have also seen their curtain poles and door fittings in the 2008 film, The Other Boleyn Girl, starring Natalie Portman, Scarlett Johansson, and Eric Bana.

As Elizabeth Stocker, who manages the friendly customer service team from the showroom next-door to the workshop, says: "I wonder where we will be next...!"
