Since 2016, Michelmersh has contributed over £1 million in charitable and in-kind donations, reinforcing its mission to build a better future, brick by brick.

Supporting Charities Close to Home

Michelmersh has donated over £120,000 in financial support to local and industry-related charities since 2016. These contributions are a meaningful reflection of the Company’s values and close connection to the construction community.

Among the many causes supported are:

• Band of Builders is a registered charity that carries out practical projects to help UK construction industry members battling illness or injury. From home adaptations to mobility solutions, their work transforms lives and brings the industry together in solidarity and compassion.
• Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity, supported through Enthuse, is the only charity dedicated to the emotional, physical and financial well-being of construction workers and their families. Offering a 24/7 helpline, training, and mental health support, Lighthouse plays a vital role in safeguarding the well-being of those who build our world.

Pledge 100: Investing in the Next Generation

This initiative empowers students and apprentices with the resources they need for hands-on learning in construction, design, and heritage skills.

Since its inception, Pledge 100 has arranged delivery of bricks reaching over £1 million in value. These donations have helped hundreds of students gain practical skills and industry knowledge, supporting the future of UK construction and craftsmanship.

In addition to financial and product donations, Michelmersh has been a proactive supporter of educational resources, CPD sessions, and competitions such as WorldSkills UK, helping bridge the gap between education and employment.
