BUILDING CONSERVATION SPECIALIST

The Architect Studio was founded by Patricia Forero-Senior, who has more than 20 years of experience in building conservation. Patricia is an accredited conservation architect (AABC) and an inspecting architect for the Diocese of Chelmsford and St Albans. She has successfully delivered many large and small projects involving major repair works and refurbishments, usually through grant funding.

Patricia understands the financial and time concerns imposed on PCCs and can work with you to help you achieve the most of your project, to continue serving your congregation and the local community.

Patricia's involvement in a project is not just about designing and specifying repairs to old buildings. It is also about advising the client along the process and liaising with all parties, including statutory bodies, contractors and consultants. 

She is passionate about historic buildings needing repair and refurbishment, creating designs that will enhance and complement the existing in a sympathetic manner.

Over the years, Patricia has worked with private clients, developers, local authorities, charities, Parochial Church Councils and the Crown Estate, all with different needs and requirements.
